Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a linen services associate to ensure accurate, timely delivery of clean linen and removal of soiled linen while complying with DOT regulations and JCAHO guidelines. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe truck and coordinating with nursing staff and customers to meet daily needs.

Responsibilities include truck loading/unloading, safe handling of linens, and keeping records and invoices organized for proper delivery to the appropriate person.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license; CDL is desirable.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services building areas as assigned according to procedures and schedule.
• Maintains secured access to designated medication storage areas when assigned.
• Responsible for maintaining and keeping the truck in top operating condition and clean.
• Load and unload truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide high level of service to customers and meet their needs.
• Maintain communication between customers and laundry management.
• Assist in laundry as needed.
• Maintain documents, gas credit cards, and invoices responsibly.
