Responsibilities

• Receives soiled linens by bag, cart or chute from floors.
• Sorts articles by kind, color and degree of soil.
• Inspects laundry and records damaged items.
• Operates washers/dryers per capacity and manufacturer guidelines.
• Adds correct chemicals prior to wash cycles.
• Folds clean linens and stores appropriately.
• Assists in daily linen count for inventories.
• Informs supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment.
• Responds promptly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Maintains professional image through appearance and dress.
• Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Note: Performs other duties as assigned.
