Job summary

WESTON TOWNEPLACE SUITES is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage the cleaning process for linens and towels in a hotel setting. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens, while maintaining high cleanliness standards and attention to detail.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working with laundry machines and chemicals. Responsibilities include sorting and washing, operating washers/dryers, linen finishing, inventory checks, and keeping the area safe

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or industrial laundry preferred.
• Must be able to lift 20–50 lbs., push/pull carts, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to work quickly with minimal supervision.
• Scheduling: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash linens and clothing by fabric type, color, and care instructions.
• Load and unload washers and dryers using proper detergents and settings.
• Fold, press, and hang items for distribution.
• Stock linen carts and closets; assist with inventory counts.
• Keep the laundry area clean, safe, and organized, including machines and lint traps.
• Identify and treat stains using appropriate chemicals and techniques
