Job summary

Tandem Hospitality Group is seeking a Laundry Attendant to clean and monitor hotel linens by washing, drying, and ironing, ensuring availability for all departments. You will identify stained items, check cleanliness, operate dryers, and fold linens to spec while maintaining accurate records.

Role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to safety policies. You will support guests with courteous service and collaborate with team members to meet quality

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift

Responsibilities

• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts
• Set dryer to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics in load
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
• Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered
• Deliver folded linen to designated storage areas
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
