Job summary

Coal County Extended Care is seeking a laundry attendant to manage laundering cycles for linens, garments, and resident items. You will operate washers and dryers, inspect soil levels, and organize folded textiles for storage.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and washes linens, garments, drapes, and other items.
• Operates washing machines and dryers according to instructions.
• Inspects articles to determine soil level and plan washing operations.
• Checks solution dispensers and lint trap; clears as needed.
• Transports washed items to drying and folding areas; records weights.
• Folds clothes and transports to storage and resident areas as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
