Responsibilities

• Transfers washed articles to electrically powered dryer.
• Folds articles and transports to appropriate storage areas.
• Inspects articles to determine soil level and plan washing operations.
• Checks automatic solution dispensers to ensure solution is dispensed.
• Transfers washed articles to dryers and adjusts to correct temperature setting.
• Checks lint trap on dryer after each cycle and clears lint from screen.
• Removes dried articles and folds according to instructions.
• Transports folded clothes to barrels for weighing and charting.
• Delivers articles to appropriate storage areas and resident rooms.
• Gathers soiled linen and transfers to laundry area.
• Ensures delivery of personal articles to appropriate resident rooms.
