Job summary

Valley View Post Acute El Monte SNF, LLC is seeking a general laundry and housekeeping associate to support resident comfort and facility cleanliness.

You will sort, wash, dry, fold and deliver clean linens, maintain inventory, and follow all safety and sanitary procedures. GED or HS diploma required with 1 year of experience preferred. No supervisory responsibilities apply to this role.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for residents' care and comfort.
• Maintain all linen in good repair and remove holes or stains from service.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, treat, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and procedures related to laundry duties.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies.
• Use laundry equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
