UNM Hospital is seeking a Laundry and Linen Service worker to collect, sort, stock and distribute linen within various hospital areas. The role involves loading/unloading linen, maintaining inventory, and using equipment safely to provide reliable service without direct patient care.
Strong attention to safety and quality standards is required. This full-time position operates in day shifts and supports department operations and policy adherence.

Provide a variety of services to include, but not limited to, collecting, sorting, distributing and stocking linen and laundry within assigned areas. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Education:
Nonessential: No minimum experience required
Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo Computer and data entry skills
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
