Job summary

Monroechamber in Quincy, MA is seeking a Clean Linen Assistant to support our production laundry line. Responsibilities include loading and unloading washers, feeds, and operating finishing equipment during the 7:00am–3:30pm shift.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, work in hot and humid environments, and follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload laundry items from washers, dryers, carts, and conveyor systems
• Feed clean laundry into flatwork iron press machines and finishing equipment
• Operate flatwork iron pressing machines, air finishers, shirt finishers, and related laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Spray carts with disinfectant and wipe down carts and work areas to maintain sanitation standards
• Shake out linens and materials to remove wrinkles and creases before processing
• Position linens and flatwork items properly onto feeder ribbons or conveyors for machine processing
