Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC in Westerville, OH seeks a Lineman II Telecom to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service for customers. You’ll operate bucket trucks and hand tools, travel for storm response, and support a safety-first culture. This full-time role requires 3+ years of lineman experience and a valid CDL where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum of three years of relevant Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned
