Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe and reliable service so communities stay connected. You will work with heavy equipment, climb and travel as needed, and support team goals with a safety-first mindset.

The role requires three years of Lineman experience, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain), and a high school diploma or GED. We value hands-on training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• Valid state CDL license or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum three years Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
