Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC seeks a Lineman II Telecom to install and maintain fiber/telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service. You’ll work with bucket trucks, digger derricks, and ladders, travel for storm response, and support teammates while keeping work areas safe and compliant.

Requires 3+ years as a Lineman, CDL or willingness to obtain it, and a valid US work authorization. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (not Provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum of three years of relevant Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair issues to ensure reliable service.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Maintain safe work areas so traffic flows smoothly on site.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
