Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom in Grove City, OH to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines and ensure safe, reliable service. Expect travel for storm responses, use of bucket trucks and rigging, and strict safety practices.

Requirements include 3+ years of Lineman experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus. The role offers benefits such as weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Lineman experience.
• High school diploma or GED; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record; ability to travel for storm response.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials; promptly fix issues for reliable service.
• Safely operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators.
• Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas to ensure traffic flows smoothly on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders; ensure personal and team safety.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
