Armstrong Utilities in Butler, PA is seeking an entry-level Construction Lineman 1. This role supports the construction of aerial and buried coax, copper, and fiber optic cabling. Expect 4x10 hour shifts with overnight travel as part of the crew, and opportunities to grow with training and certification paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Overnight travel required.
• DOT medical card obtainable after offer.
• Lift a minimum of 75 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Able to work after hours for storm response.

Responsibilities

• Construct aerial and buried coax, copper, and fiber optic cabling per practices.
• Operate bucket trucks, forklifts, backhoes and other equipment.
• Climb poles and ladders with safety gear; read network design prints.
• Maintain daily logs and inventory paperwork.
