Job summary

Armstrong Group is seeking a Plant Maintenance Lineman 1 to construct and maintain aerial and buried coax, copper, and fiber optic cables. The role requires independent work and teamwork in varying weather conditions across a field setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to climb poles and ladders with safety.
• Read and interpret network design prints and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and transfer aerial and underground HFC, FTTH, and telephone plant.
• Perform pole and ladder work and operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and keep daily logs and inventory records.
• Follow NEC guidelines and Armstrong safety policies.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment to Armstrong standards.
