Job summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking a Lineman/CDL Instructor to teach in the Lineman and CDL programs. This full-time, on-site role supports instruction and testing in Leslie and Wolfe Counties within the Workforce Solutions department.

The position requires CDL-and-Lineman experience with a clean driving record; training experience is a plus. Comprehensive benefits and a strong work‑life balance are offered by the college.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of CDL over the road experience with clean driving record and at least five years of Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in and assist in recruitment and preparation for our Lineman and CDL program, along with program review coordination, working with utility employers, and maintain accurate records on students.
• Coordinate program reviews, engage with utility employers, and maintain accurate student records.
