We are seeking a Lineman to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing all types of work involved with the installation, rearrangement, maintenance, operation, removal, and inspection of electrical transmission and distribution facilities. All duties apply to overhead and underground equipment and facilities. The Lineman C role builds upon the skills, abilities, and knowledge learned as a Lineman D or equivalent.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT: Successful candidate will reside within a 25-mile radius of the Rogers Service Center.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum one year of distribution electrical power line work or related line experience, including completion of electrical line school with internship, or an Associate degree with internship.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class A CDL required
Other: Must have performed duties of Lineman D or equivalent, qualify through demonstration, exam, or performance, and acquire necessary skills for higher classifications within company-defined timeframes. A physical abilities assessment is required.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: At least 2 years as Lineman C or equivalent
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class A CDL required
Other: Must meet qualifications of Lineman C and demonstrate ability for higher roles. Physical assessment required.
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Completion of apprentice training, B-200 certification with 80%+, or 4+ years line work experience with journeyman assessment.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Class A CDL required
Other: Must have qualifications of Lineman B, demonstrate skills, and pass physical assessment.
Lineman C: $33.84/hr
Lineman B: $38.37/hr
Lineman A: $55.06/hr
Compensation Grade: U073-R32
Range: $33.84 - $34.96 USD
The physical demand level is heavy work, involving exerting significant force to move objects. This exceeds medium work requirements.
