Shelton Energy Solutions LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman in Lafayette, LA. The role involves continuing lineman training in the construction, maintenance and repair of power, transmission and distribution lines, both overhead and underground, using line trucks, booms, lifts and wire-pulling gear.

The position requires working on energized lines under supervision, installing sectionalizing devices, and adhering to safety standards. Strong readiness for on-call hours and travel is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year experience as a Lineman C with Shelton Energy Solutions or completion of formal training with two-year field or verifiable experience elsewhere.
• Complete OSHA 10 hr Safety Training Program within 90 days.
• CDL class A license preferred; must acquire CDL beginners permit within 60 days.
• Possession of climbing tools preferred.
• Ability to read and understand minimum approach distances.
• Desire to learn and commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first.

Responsabilidades

• Work on energized primary lines and equipment under supervision of Lineman A or higher classification.
• Install cutouts, line switches, recloses and sectionalizing devices under supervision.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Educación
