Xcel Energy, a leading energy provider, is seeking one or more 3rd Step Apprentice / Journeyman Lineman for the Faribault Service Center in Faribault, MN. The role covers overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission duties with a strong safety and customer-service emphasis.

The position offers progression from Apprentice at $43.59/hour to Journeyman at $62.27/hour, with step-based increases. Applicants must meet CDL requirements and live within 20 miles of the service center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a degree/diploma from an accepted Line School.
• Must meet driver qualification requirements, including the possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
• Must be physically capable of performing all aspects of electric overhead and underground distribution construction, operations, and maintenance work.
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must presently be qualified to be a 3rd Step Apprentice Lineman or higher.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to work safely and productively.
