Candidates should have a high school diploma and one year of related experience, with OSHA-10 and CDL/GRDA certifications pursued as required. Strong work ethic and teamwork are essential in a demanding outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• One (1) year of experience in high-voltage electric transmission and distribution preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification or to obtain within 6 months after employment.
• Must obtain GRDA switchman certificate and certified clearance holder certificate from GRDA's System Operations.
• Arc Flash Training and other training to be completed as required by GRDA policy.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair high-voltage transmission and distribution lines and equipment.
• Work safely in extreme weather conditions and during outages.
• Coordinate with GRDA crews and other divisions on projects and logistics.
• Follow NESC and IEEE guidelines for installation and safety of high-voltage infrastructure.
• Support preventive and corrective work orders through GRDA asset management.
