Qualifications

• 1000 proven hours working as a lineman or helper, with ability to install/repair cables or wires.
• NCCER Construction Craft Laborer certification or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist lineman in installation or repair of cables or wires according to plans and standards.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment and work at heights.
• Drive to job sites with tools and materials; coordinate with crew and follow safety procedures.
• Lay underground cables and splice as needed; use hand and power tools to assemble and install components.
