Overview

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We're seeking an Aerial Lineman to join our team and help connect America. The Aerial Lineman will perform aerial cable installation procedures, including the placement of poles and anchors.

What you'll do...

1. Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
2. Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
3. Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
4. Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers
5. Flag traffic when required
6. Understand separation and clearance regulations
7. Work aloft safely using climbing hooks and ladders
8. Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for...

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
• You can pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• You possess a valid standard Driver's License with Class A Commercial Driver's License
• You have previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
• You are knowledgeable about aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• You can climb telephone poles, work in bucket trucks, and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
• You can perform various telecommunications construction duties such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new builds, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
• You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed, with or without assistance
• You are willing to work overtime, after hours, weekends, for emergencies, or on-call
• You can maintain a safe work environment
• You can work in all weather conditions
• You are willing to travel when required
• You may have experience splicing active and passive equipment
