Overview

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? We’re seeking an Aerial Lineman to join our team and help connect America. The role involves performing aerial cable installation and techniques, including pole and anchor placement.

What you’ll do…

1. Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
2. Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
3. Safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
4. Set up safety perimeters with signage, cones, and barriers
5. Flag traffic when required
6. Understand separation and clearance regulations
7. Work aloft safely using climbing hooks and ladders
8. Maintain safe working conditions according to all regulations and policies

Who we are looking for…

1. You are at least 18 years old
2. You are authorized to work in the United States
3. You can pass a DOT physical exam and have a valid medical card
4. You possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
5. You have construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
6. You know aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
7. You can climb poles and work in bucket trucks and aloft up to 40 feet
8. You can perform duties such as pole transfers, maintenance, new builds, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction
9. You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
10. You are willing to work overtime, evenings, weekends, or on-call for emergencies
11. You can maintain a safe work environment and work in all weather conditions
12. You are willing to travel as required
13. Experience with splicing active/passive equipment is a plus
