Chain Electric Company is seeking an experienced A-Lineman to safely perform skilled electrical work in the construction, maintenance, and operation of distribution and transmission systems. The role involves climbing, testing, splicing cables, and traveling to job sites, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires a minimum 4 years of direct experience, a valid CDL-B license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of directly related experience.
• Must possess a valid CDL-B license.
• Must possess own tools.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety practices and procedures at all times.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Safely construct, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems and substations.
• Inspect and test power lines and equipment with instruments.
• Splice or solder cables and lay underground cables.
• Travel to job sites by truck, helicopter, airplane, or boat as needed.
