These positions are open to the public and all current city employees covered under the City's Collective Bargaining Agreement with the INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS - LOCAL 9 (BARGAINING UNIT 29).
Note: Bidders who meet the minimum qualifications and are placed on the referral list will be offered the available vacancies in seniority order.
Under supervision, performs installations, repairs, and tests of aerial and underground electrical wires, fixtures, and related equipment, and performs related duties as required

Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7 AM- 3:30 PM
Hours of work and location may change and are assigned at the department's discretion depending on the needs of the business.
THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE
This position requires candidates to pass both a written job knowledge exam and a skills assessment.
Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after test results have been analyzed and compiled. Candidates who pass both tests will be hired in seniority or lottery/random order.
