Job summary

INTIGRAL, Inc. in Bucks County, PA is seeking a production operator to support daily startup and changeovers with a strong safety mindset. You’ll ensure smooth hour-by-hour operation, monitor workflow, train staff, and uphold quality standards across the line.

You will follow safety procedures, participate in process improvements, and be available for overtime as needed to meet the production schedule.

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the business systems.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate startup meetings to ensure smooth and efficient startup to each workday.
  • Execute changeovers without safety issues while maximizing up time and minimizing quality issues.
  • Follow and administer all safety procedures and PPE according to standards and report safety concerns.
  • Respond to downtime situations and correct or escalate as needed to meet daily schedules.
  • Manage hour-by-hour operation of the work center to exceed the daily schedule.
  • Verify operators are following the repair process.
  • Monitor WIP levels to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Train new or existing operators using Standard Work and Work Instructions.
  • Promote quality specifications and lead corrective actions.
  • Perform position work during absenteeism or breaks to maintain production.
  • Support process improvements and training activities.
  • Provide feedback on operations and personnel decisions.
  • Maintain audits for standard work, safety, and training matrices.
  • Report to work 30 minutes prior to shift start as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Included, but not limited to):
  • Facilitate startup meetings to ensure smooth and efficient startup to each workday
  • Execute changeovers without safety issues while maximizing up time and minimizing quality issues
  • Follow and administer all safety procedures and personal protective equipment according to standards. Be proactive on safety concerns and make recommendations when appropriate.
  • Respond to any downtime situation and correct it immediately or communicate the need for support. Responsible for the hour-by-hour operation of your work center(s) to ensure that the team is working efficiently towards exceeding the daily schedule
  • Verifies that operators are following the repair process
  • Monitor WIP (work in process) levels to ensure smooth workflow
  • Train new or existing operators using Standard Work, Work Instructions and Control Plans as the training templates
  • Know, understand and promote the quality specifications for your area. Lead corrective actions.
  • Perform position work when there is a need for members to leave the production line or for absenteeism
  • Deploy, execute and train to existing and future process improvements
  • Provide feedback on and execute decisions related to operations and personnel
  • Maintain audits as necessary (standard work, safety, training matrix, etc.)
  • Required to report to work 30 minutes prior to shift start at the discretion of the supervisor
Requirements

Shift : Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm Saturdays when needed.
