AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Linehaul Driver to move freight between terminals across regions. The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining shipping documents, and providing professional relations with the public.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year driving experience, and a Class A CDL with hazmat endorsements. A clean background and DOT drug screen/physical are required. Flexible hours are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of driving experience required.
• Class A Interstate CDL with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements is required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to determine if the load complies with all required regulations.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations between our company and the public.
• Drive truck to the required destination in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure that all shipping documentation required to move with shipments is available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition per laws and AAA Cooper policies.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
