Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Service Center/Linehaul Driver to move freight between terminals.

As a full-time employee, you will operate commercial vehicles safely, manage shipping documents, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations while building professional relations with customers and the public. The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, a minimum of one year driving experience, and the ability to meet DOT drug and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• CDL Class A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers to determine load compliance with regulations.
• Maintain records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public.
• Drive to destinations in accordance with federal regulations.
• Ensure required shipping documentation is available for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers from tractors and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
