The position emphasizes professional customer relations and adherence to safety protocols. The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements, at least 21 years old, and flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and appropriate endorsements required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Flexibility in schedule required.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Check shipping papers for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain required records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with the public and customers.
• Drive to destinations following federal regulations.
• Ensure shipping documentation is ready for inspection.
• Hook and unhook trailers and manage landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
