Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Linehaul Manager in South Brunswick, NJ to lead linehaul planning and optimize the distribution network. The role engages with Industrial Engineering, Line Dispatch, and HUB Operations to monitor volumes and adjust departure times for efficiency.

The position requires leadership experience, a strong logistics background, and proficiency with Excel. A Class A license is preferred, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Two years in logistics/supply chain, dispatching, transportation, engineering, or business analysis.
• Five years of leadership experience.
• Current Class A driver’s license preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Excel and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor load volumes at the dock and adjust linehaul plans with HUB operations.
• Communicate load consolidation decisions to minimize miles and costs.
• Coordinate with Line Dispatch and HUB Ops to manage late lines and contingencies.
• Oversee linehaul admin staff and ensure timely data entry in systems.
• Collaborate with Fleet Maintenance, Linehaul Planning and Vendor Relations to resolve issues.
• Support safety and compliance through the company safety program.
