Job summary

Dohrn Transfer Company is seeking a Full Time Linehaul Driver for our South Bend, IN terminal. The role involves long-distance tractor-trailer hauls between terminals, with overnight shifts and a pay rate of $0.78 per mile. Home daily with comprehensive benefits.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience and pass a road test. Endorsements for Hazmat and Tanker are required, along with a valid CDL and clean MVR.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Must pass a road test by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
Must possess or obtain Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements on CDL.
Must hold only one CDL issued by resident state and provide license history for past 36 months.
No DUI/OWI or Reckless Driving in past 5 years.
Must have readable English and basic math.
At-will employment relationship with Dohrn Transfer.

Responsibilities

Drive tractor-trailer long-distance between terminals to pick up and drop off freight.
Load/unload freight and secure cargo as needed.
Maintain logs and records per Federal and State regulations.
Comply with DOT, FAA, and company safety policies.
Operate vehicle in compliance with hours-of-service rules.
