Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Linehaul Driver for our Peru, IL Terminal. The driver will operate a tractor-trailer long-distance between terminals, with a pay rate of $0.78/mi initially, rising to $0.81/mi after the first year, and a quarterly safety incentive bonus.

Main duties include loading/unloading, cargo securing, and maintaining regulatory records while adhering to safety standards. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401k match, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must pass a road test, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug screen.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years and clean MVR.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer long-distance between terminals to transport freight.
• Load and unload freight; secure cargo as needed.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain logs and records per Federal and State regulations.
• Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
