Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Linehaul Driver in Spencer, IA. Home daily with a Monday–Friday overnight shift and mileage pay of $0.78/mi, rising to $0.81/mi after one year.

Quarterly safety incentives up to $250 per quarter, and up to $1,000 annually, complement a solid benefits package. Responsibilities include long‑distance tractor-trailer operation between terminals, load/unload duties, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must pass a road test by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Must obtain Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements or have them within required time.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer safely between terminals to move freight.
• Load and unload freight as needed and secure cargo.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and maintain records as required by law and policy.
• Comply with DOT, state and company safety regulations and hours of service rules.
• Maintain logs and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
