Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an experienced Linehaul Driver to move freight between service centers and designated points. You will operate a tractor-trailer (single or double) in diverse terrain and weather, verify dispatch instructions, and ensure loads match shipping documents.

You must be 21+, have CDL-A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, pass background and drug tests, and meet DOT medical requirements; English literacy and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements required.
• Must be able to read/write English and perform basic math.
• Must pass background check and alcohol/drug test; DOT physical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer or double-trailer to move freight between Southeastern’s Service Centers and designated points.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions; verify load against shipping documents; ensure proper placarding for hazmat when required.
• Promote superior customer service and professionalism in all duties.
