Qualifications

• Three (3) years' vessel experience
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience at ARTCo
• Must have submitted license application for Apprentice Steersman
• Promote ADM Way and core Values
• Ability to manage a diverse team
• Must have demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow safety policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to coach, mentor, engage and develop workforce
• Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Current TWIC card required

Responsibilities

• Complete core components of the Pilot Apprentice program including Vessel Familiarization and Operations; Watch Standing; Environmental Protection; Safety and Emergency Response; Rules of the Road; Maneuvering; and Leadership
• Lead and participate in strategic discussions and decisions as required
• Maintain safety and procedural compliance across shifts and vessels
