McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a Line Technician for the 1st shift at its Gretna, Louisiana facility. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operation of the production line, meeting quality, safety, and waste reduction goals while maintaining a clean work area and following GMP guidelines.

The technician will set up lines, perform changeovers, operate line equipment, conduct quality checks and monitor activities to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate and monitor production line equipment.
• Perform quality inspections of products and packs during the line run.
• Adhere to safety and Good Manufacturing practices at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set up the line and perform product/changeover adjustments.
• Operate processing, filling and packaging equipment on the line.
• Perform quality inspections including weights, seals, labels, dates and material checks.
• Monitor line activities to meet production needs and minimize downtime.
• Record inventory transactions in SAP and complete required paperwork.
