Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain an airport-issued badge.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and detail aircraft interiors including cabins, cockpits, galleys, lavatories, seats and storage areas.
  • Perform exterior cleaning including washing and polishing surfaces and removing debris.
  • Stock aircraft with approved supplies, amenities, snacks, beverages, and passenger materials.
  • Identify and report damage or cleanliness issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Coordinate with Line Service, Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Client Services to ensure cleaning and preparation on schedule.
  • Follow company safety procedures and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

About this Role:

An Aircraft Line Detailer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of Northern Jet aircraft to ensure every client, crew member, and guest experiences the highest standard of private aviation service. This role supports daily flight operations by cleaning, detailing, stocking, and preparing aircraft interiors and exteriors while maintaining safety, quality, and attention to detail.

The Aircraft Line Detailer plays a key role in ensuring each aircraft is client-ready, professionally presented, and aligned with Northern Jet’s luxury service standards.

Location: Orlando, Florida
Schedule: Part-time and full-time schedules available

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Aircraft Cleaning & Detailing

  • Clean and detail aircraft interiors, including cabins, cockpits, galleys, lavatories, seats, tables, windows, carpets, and storage areas.
  • Perform exterior aircraft cleaning as assigned, including washing, polishing, wiping down surfaces, and removing debris.
  • Vacuum, shampoo, spot-clean, and maintain carpets and upholstery.
  • Clean and sanitize lavatories, galley areas, trays, cabinets, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Ensure aircraft are stocked with approved supplies, amenities, snacks, beverages, and passenger materials as needed.
  • Remove trash, restock items, and prepare aircraft for upcoming flights.
  • Identify and report any damage, maintenance concerns, missing items, or cleanliness issues to the appropriate team member.
Operational Support
  • Coordinate with Line Service, Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Client Services to ensure aircraft are cleaned and prepared on schedule.
  • Assist with aircraft turnarounds between flights in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow company procedures for aircraft access, safety, security, and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and detailing products in an organized and safe manner.
  • Support hangar and ramp cleanliness as needed.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleans, and seasonal detailing needs.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Use approved cleaning products and methods appropriate for aircraft surfaces, materials, and finishes.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, airport regulations, and security requirements.
  • Maintain awareness while working around aircraft, ground support equipment, and active ramp areas.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Ensure all work is completed with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and safety.
Customer Service & Communication
  • Provide professional, courteous support to pilots, crew members, passengers, maintenance personnel, and fellow team members.
  • Communicate aircraft readiness, supply needs, and service concerns clearly and promptly.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance and attitude when working around clients and guests.
  • Support Northern Jet’s commitment to delivering a luxury-level private aviation experience.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts as operational needs require.
