Job summary

LV Aero, LLC is seeking a dedicated team member for our on-site concierge-style FBO in Teterboro, NJ. The role centers on safe, precise aircraft ground operations and exceptional passenger and crew services in a fast-paced environment.

You will fuel, tow, marshal, and support ground services while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness. A flexible schedule is required, with a baseline 7:00am-3:00pm shift and potential changes as operations evolve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Basic English communication skills (B1) or above.
• Preferably at least one year of mechanical experience.
• Direct line and ramp experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Refuel and defuel aircraft daily, following fueling requirements.
• Provide towing and disconnecting services for aircraft.
• Use hand signals to guide arrivals/departures.
• Operate ground support equipment (GPU, aircraft services) implementing safety.
• Communicate with crew via radios to ensure service excellence.
• Assist with catering, ice, and passenger/crew needs.
• Provide transport for customers to/from aircraft, hotels, and venues.
• Assist with hangar and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Support safety-first culture by reporting hazards promptly.

Position Summary

This role puts you at the center of airport operations, supporting aircraft, crews, and passengers with safety, precision, and exceptional service. Each shift, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability, teamwork, and customer focus are key.

Your work is supported by both a safety & training network and a robust operations & management framework, allowing you to tap into expertise across functions to guide your efforts. With these interconnected support systems, you’ll be part of a team committed to delivering top-notch service and meeting the intricate demands of luxury flight.

This role is on-site, working from our concierge style Fixed Based Operator (FBO) location in Teterboro, NJ where you will be right at the heart of the action. As a key member of the FBO team, you will work closely with clients, passengers, crew, and fellow team members, providing an exceptional experience and ensuring smooth operations for each flight.

Work Schedule/Compensation

Aviation operates on a dynamic schedule—things can change fast, and our success depends on team members who can adapt. We are looking for team members who thrive in a dynamic, around-the-clock operation and are open to working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the operation, customers, and crews.

• We formally operate 24 hours daily, 7 days weekly.
• A Shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) is the initial assignment with potential for changes over time as our business needs and opportunities evolve.
• Training for this role is expected to last approximately 4–6 weeks. During the training period, hours may differ from the assigned shift listed based on operational and training needs. Once initial training is successfully completed, you will transition to the assigned shift.

The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $23.00-$24.00 hourly, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.

Minimum Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• A valid driver’s license and a strong sense of responsibility
• Basic English communication skills (B1 level or above)
• A courteous, respectful attitude and a reliable work ethic
• Preferably at least one year of mechanical experience
• Direct line and ramp experience preferred, but not required
• Willingness to work flexible hours — rain or shine
• Must be able to handle the demands of an active, on-the-move role
• A strong eye for quality and a natural focus on customer service
• The ability to stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure
• Someone who takes pride in doing things right, enjoys working outdoors

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for refueling and defueling all types of aircrafts on a daily basis, demonstrating knowledge of specific fueling requirements
• Provides towing and disconnecting services for all types of aircraft
• Executes hand signals in order to guide aircrafts during arrivals and departures
• Provides service to aircrafts using ground support equipment, e.g. use of GPU for aircraft engine starts and ground power, use of lavatory cart and emptying procedures, etc.
• Communicates with employees and/or crew using radios in order to provide excellent customer service
• Assists in providing aircraft with ice, coffee, catering and other necessary services
• Provides transportation for customers and pilots to and from aircraft, hotels, restaurants and other parts of the airport with courtesy van or bus
• Assists with aircraft and hangar cleaning, as needed
• Assist with general grounds keeping (grass cutting, weeding, pick up paper and trash etc.)

• Safely handling aircraft ground operations, including fueling, towing, marshalling, and ground support equipment.
• Delivering excellent customer service by assisting passengers and crews with luggage, transportation, and amenities.
• Maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies to the highest standards of safety, quality, and cleanliness.
• Supporting a strong safety-first culture by following procedures and promptly reporting hazards or issues.

• Provide porter services — delivering luggage, cargo, and transporting crew and passengers
