Job summary

FEAM Aero is seeking an experienced Supervisor for line maintenance in New York. You will oversee daily line maintenance activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, monitor departures, and manage staffing and material requirements to meet customer schedules.

Ideal candidates have an A&P license, wide-body aircraft experience, and 2-3 years of line maintenance leadership. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Current valid driver’s license and an A&P license required.
  • Wide-body commercial aircraft experience required.
  • Able to pass airport security background check.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Airline Supervisor or Maintenance Control Experience.
  • Line maintenance experience 2-3 years.
  • Line maintenance Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all line maintenance activities, ensuring the company’s and customer’s requirements are met and the customer’s schedules are maintained.
  • Ensure personnel follow safety practices in performance of duties.
  • Monitor departures, create delay reports, and mitigate future delays.
  • Database management and daily meetings reporting.
  • Fulfill customer staffing and material requirements cost-effectively.
  • Review staff billing to ensure proper accounting of equipment, material, and manhours.
  • Coordinate shift managers and customer departments in maintenance tasks.
  • Determine material support requirements for the area.
  • Inspect facilities, tooling, equipment, and GSE for compliance.
  • Keep the repair station clean and orderly.
  • Keep operating expenses within budget targets.
  • Ensure staff are trained, qualified, and sufficient in number.
  • Comply with FAA / CFR rules and customer policies.
  • Follow customer OPS Specs procedures during fueling, de-icing, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Sign on Bonus: $5k

Hourly Rate DOE: $46-49/hour

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all line maintenance activities, ensuring the company’s and customer’s requirements are met and the customer’s schedules are maintained.
  • Ensure that personnel under his/her management follow the company’s prescribed safety practices in the performance of their duties.
  • Monitor departures, create delay reports, and ensure appropriate actions are taken when necessary to mitigate future delays.
  • Database Management and report generation for daily meetings.
  • Ensure the customer’s requirements for staffing and material are fulfilled in a cost-effective manner.
  • Review his staff’s billing documentation to ensure all equipment, material, and manhours are being properly accounted for.
  • Coordinate locally the efforts of the Shift Managers and Customer Departments in the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and alteration of the customer’s aircraft.
  • Establish the requirements of material support needed for his / her area of responsibility.
  • Perform inspections of facility, tooling, equipment, and GSE to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Ensure the repair station is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Ensure operational expenses remain within established budget goals.
  • Ensure that personnel under his/her management are properly trained, qualified, and authorized and are sufficient in number to perform their duties.
  • Ensure that the personnel under their management follow all applicable FAA / CFR rules and regulations and comply with the customer’s requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure that the customer’s operating procedures and manuals are followed at all times, i.e. Fueling, De-Icing and all other special procedures required by the customer’s Ops Specs.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Regional Manager, Station and Program Manager.
Basic Qualifications
