Job summary

Vista Aircraft Maintenance in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Line Service Technician to join our operations team. This hands-on role supports aircraft ground services, communicates with flight crews and other teams, and helps ensure safe, efficient ramp operations.

Eligible candidates are prepared for flexible hours, outdoor work in all weather, and physical tasks including lifting and equipment operation. The position is full-time and onsite, with a competitive hourly rate of $25.00–$28.00.

Qualifications

• Local aviation and ramp service experience preferred.
• Strong communication with pilots, crews and customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Physically demanding, outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Marshal, wing-walk, tow, fuel, and de-fuel aircraft per procedures.
• Provide ground services: lavatory and water, baggage, cleaning, pre/post-flight support.
• Run daily ramp checks, inspections, audits, and checklists for safety and operations.
• Operate and maintain ground support equipment and ensure ramp activity is controlled.
• Support facilities and other departments with cleaning and operational tasks.
• Maintain security and safety while delivering efficient service.
