Job summary

MODERN AVIATION INC is seeking a Line Service Technician to perform ground handling tasks at Sacramento, CA, ensuring safe operations and top-tier customer service for aircraft owners, guests, and crews. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, requiring fuel, towing, parking, de-icing, and ramp operations with emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork; weekend and night shifts may be scheduled.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, valid driver's license, strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have open availability when schedules vary, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft types and aircraft servicing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling, towing, parking, de-icing, placement, and basic cleaning.
• Operate a wide range of aircraft ground support equipment safely and per procedures.
• Deliver timely ground services for arriving and departing aircraft.
• Maintain ramp awareness, monitor weather conditions, and prevent FOD.
• Communicate clearly during aircraft movements and active operations.
• Work with Line Service Technicians, Customer Service staff, and Operations leadership.
