Job summary

Clay Lacy Aviation in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Line Service Technician I to deliver outstanding customer service while supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, crews, and passengers. You will work closely with Charter, Aircraft Maintenance, Valet and Facilities to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, with a focus on safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in the state of work.
• Learn and comply with all safety and operating standards of vehicle and passenger safety as well as airport policies.
• Always provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Complete NATA Safety First, Clay Lacy Aviation and other job-related training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, direct interface, over telephone and in writing.
• Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe, efficient manner.
• Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others.
• Schedules are subject to change; must be available to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks including facility cleaning, vehicle washing, aircraft window cleaning.
• Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day and night, in all weather conditions.
• Fuel aircraft in accordance with ATA specifications and standards.
• Marshal aircraft under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service while supporting ground operations for inbound/outbound aircraft, crews, and passengers.
• Coordinate with Charter, Aircraft Maintenance, Valet, and Facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with fueling, marshalling, and aircraft servicing as needed.
• Load/unload baggage and drive company vehicles as required.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and equipment is used properly.
• Support other departments such as hangar cleaning and facility upkeep.
