Job summary

Bombardier in Wichita seeks a Line Service Specialist to support aircraft arrivals, departures, and ground handling. You will greet crew and passengers, arrange transportation, and assist with fueling, servicing, and ramp activities to ensure smooth operations.

Role requires a valid driver's license, basic PC skills, and ability to communicate in English. You will work across shifts in a dynamic aviation environment with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Experience around aircraft/towing preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Basic PC skills required.

Responsibilities

• Make hotel and car reservations; greet crew and passengers; provide transportation to customers and employees.
• Handle aircraft arrival and departure activities.
• Assist with transport aircraft on ramp and position in hanger.
• Assist with service on aircraft lavatory and potable water.
• Assist with all fueling/de-fueling activities.
• Follow environmental, health and safety policies and 5-S practices.
• Service aircraft convenience items.
• Perform tasks with limited supervision.
• Operate ground support equipment and power/industrial vehicles.
• Maintain clear communication in English (written and verbal).

What are your contributions to the team?

• Perform a variety of customer-oriented operations (i.e., make hotel and car reservations; secure catering requests; greet crew and passengers; provide transportation to customers and employees, etc.)
• Perform activities related to aircraft arrival and departure
• Assist with transport aircraft on ramp and position in hanger
• Assist with service on aircraft lavatory and potable water
• Assist with all related aircraft fueling/de-fueling activities
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Service aircraft convenience items
• Perform all basic tasks with limited supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Operate ground support equipment
• Ability to operate power and industrial vehicles (scissor lift, forklift, genie lift, and A/C tug)
• Basic PC skills

How to thrive in this role?

• Valid Driver’s License
• Prior experience working around aircraft/towing or tugging of a/c is preferred
