Job Summary:

Perform a variety of line service activities for Company and Customer owned aircraft and general Service Center facilities maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Work from shop orders, squawk sheets, oral and written instructions to perform primary line service duties:
2. Maintain, watch, and meet aircraft on taxi ramp. Tow, park, and secure aircraft at various ramp and hangar locations. Inventory and store personal contents as required.
3. Wash, clean, polish, and/or wax exterior; clean and service interior of aircraft.
4. Defuel and fuel aircraft. Complete fuel usage forms and records.
5. Position and operate group power and other aircraft service units.
6. Pick up, transport, and deliver personnel, parts, tools, supplies, and equipment to the Air Transportation Department.
7. Perform general cleaning of ramps and service facilities. Move equipment, furniture, storage bins, etc., as required.
8. Maintain assigned service equipment and transportation vehicles. Perform cleaning and routine maintenance checks.
9. Observe and comply with all safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• Ability to read shop orders, use basic mathematics, and maintain records and forms.
• Must maintain current driver's license.

Experience:

• Up to one year experience performing line service duties such as fueling and cleansing aircraft.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.

Working Conditions

Somewhat disagreeable due to exposure to noise and weather elements.
