Job summary

Aubergine Kitchen is looking for a Line Server to join our production line team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role supports a busy service, operates on a Monday–Saturday schedule with weekend shifts and occasional table delivery.

Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, guaranteed, with tips included. Both full-time and part-time options are available, and the position requires strong English skills and a friendly, detail-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English fluency for this location.
• Ability to be bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and rotate production line using FIFO.
• Portion and plate dishes to standard and comply with dietary restrictions.
• Occasionally deliver dishes to guest tables.
• Keep station and dining area clean and sanitized; sanitizer refreshed every 2 hours.
• Restock storage, to-go supplies, and assist with online/catering orders and dishwashing.
• Pitch in during peak periods to support the team and guest experience.

Line Server

Production Line — Small Location

Reports To: General Manager

Shift: Monday–Saturday | Shifts include weekends | Closed Sundays

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time

Pay: $16.00/hr guaranteed (base + tips)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong English fluency required for this location; bilingual Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude; strong attention to detail; able to keep pace under pressure.
• 18+; prior restaurant experience a plus, not required.
• Completes Aubergine's onboarding program; Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Line & Station

• Set up, stock, and rotate the production line (greens, proteins, sauces, toppings) using FIFO; flag low ingredients to prep immediately.
• Portion and plate every dish to Aubergine's consistency and presentation standards, following dietary restrictions exactly.
• Occasionally deliver dishes to guest tables with a friendly, attentive manner.

Cleaning, Stocking & Support

• Keep your station and the dining area clean and sanitized all shift — sanitizer refreshed every 2 hours, tables cleared and reset promptly after each guest, floors swept as needed.
• Restock storage (cold/dry goods), to-go supplies, and self-service items; help with online/catering orders and dishwashing when needed.
• Pitch in wherever the team needs support during peak periods — customer experience is a shared responsibility.
