Responsibilities

• Keep machines clean and in good running condition; keep accurate records of carton/film usage, downtime and jams; clear jams promptly and follow safety measures.
• Load cartons/film correctly during production; ensure packers receive a pouch of the new code and communicate it to packers.
• Change codes on printers and notify inspectors when ready to load a new code on the line.
• Check pouch code against carton code and verify proper glue after code changes.
• Notify mechanic of machine problems; unload cartons/film and clean machines at end of shift.
• Monitor line processing and complete required paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.
