Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick in Illinois is seeking a line cook to prepare a variety of products including chicken salads, pimento cheese, soups, sauces, cookies and desserts while adhering to CSC recipes and SOS goals. You will maintain cleanliness and follow brand standards for uniform appearance and grooming.

Responsibilities include opening/closing prep, following the Daily Prep List, ensuring portion sizes and quality, and reporting shortages or equipment issues to Management.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
• Complete opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refer to Daily Prep List at start of shift for assigned duties.
• Prepare various food items per CSC recipes and standards.
• Follow CSC portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
• Prepare all Guest orders with adherence to CSC standards.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work station.
• Close line kitchen properly and assist with closing.
• Attend meetings and provide improvement suggestions.
• Report equipment and food quality problems promptly to Management.
• Notify Management immediately of shortages.
• Use Standard Recipe Cards for all products.
