Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center in Kimberly, ID is seeking a full-time Line/Prep Cook to support high-volume meal production and timely service. You will test recipes, keep the kitchen clean, and assist with inspections to ensure safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Food Handler's Permit required.
• High School diploma.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed.
• Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service.
• Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary.
• Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order
