Job summary

Thind Management is seeking a motivated Line & Prep Cook for our dining establishment. You will be responsible for preparing and executing high quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure a smooth service.

You will handle ingredient prep, station management, and cooperate with staff to maintain safety and sanitation standards, while remaining flexible to work different stations as needed and to assist the chef.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation rules.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work across multiple kitchen stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items per recipes.
• Manage a station on the cooking line during service.
• Maintain consistency in portion sizes and presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; follow sanitation procedures.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the chef.
• Assist with inventory and notify chef of low stock.
• Train service team to boost product knowledge and professionalism.
• Ensure health and safety compliance throughout the restaurant.
