Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to join our medical air transport team. You will work with medical experts to transport patients, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation. The role requires 2,000 total flight hours, rotorcraft certification, and night-hour qualifications are a plus.

A 7/7 schedule applies with on-duty housing. We offer competitive compensation with a $15K sign-on bonus (eligibility), retention bonuses, and a geo-modified salary range.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating is required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate is required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours preferred.
• 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients safely with medical team aboard.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight and comply with FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information and maintain change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services

Salary range $119,825 - $131, 807 including 35% Geo Modifier

$15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility

Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
